A tour in Beit El Rose garden

Nestled amongst the beautiful rolling Binyamin Hills in Israel's biblical heartlands, is the Beit El estate winery, which draws upon a rich Jewish cultural and spiritual heritage to inspire the creation of exquisite wines that yearly grow in popularity.

This takes place in an area that has seen thousands of years of wine making. Today, at this site of a famous Biblical dream, modern dreams are coming true.

At an altitude of 850 meters (2,79o Feet) above sea level, the charming ancient terraced slopes, which are full of incredible archaeological remnants from Israel’s ancient wine industry, including wine presses hewn from solid limestone, now once again contain lush vineyards. Rose garden and Spices Teresa, With moss-covered crumbling stone walls and millennia old watch towers all around, one cannot help but think The Song of Redemption that is found in Amos: 9,14. It is not hard to imagine how the Manne's fell in love with this spot.

The Manne family, Hillel and Nina, The parents, Shalom –David and Yisrael, the brothers, grows seven varieties of grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Marselan, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Carignan, with the hillside vineyards generating yields of 5 tons per hectare. Here the yield is kept deliberately low to ensure only the highest quality grapes are produced, about two to three bottles per vine only.
